Comedian - Roland Powell aka Lil Duval

Rapidly becoming one of the most talked about comedians in the industry, Roland Powell's charisma and physical agility are unforgettable. With him being only 5' - 7" in stature, he brings truth to the cliché that "big things Come In small packages".

The Jacksonville, Florida native has electrified stages across the United States and abroad. He united the languages through laughter on the Mega Ven European Comedy Tour in 2001. With the BUZZ he created on the local Comedy Clubs and College circuit, he was selected to be a feature act on the 30 city Bud Lite Comedy Tour with "CEDRIC THE ENTERTAINER" during the summer of 2001. He has been a part of the RJE Urban Comedy Cabaret Tour, the Largest and Longest running comedy tour catering to the University/ College market. His popularity from his numerous television appearances allowed him to be showcased as a headlining act on the tour.

Television has been very receptive to Roland the last three (3) years. The television show shot at the historic Apollo Theater in New York City, "SHOWTIME AT THE APOLLO", has showcased him on Three (3) episodes on their comedy segment of the
show. Black Entertainment Television's (BET) has featured him on their long running comedy series "COMIC VIEW" the last Three (3) seasons also. He tore the house down with his Comedy Remix of the Platinum single "JUST FRIENDS" by R&B artist MUSIQ SOULCHILD.

In keeping with his plan, he is back and forth from Los Angeles and Atlanta trying to expand is career in comedy. Roland keeps up a dizzying pace performing for sold out crowds in clubs, colleges, and concert halls across the country. His short time in the industry has taken him to heights unheard. Roland's hardwork and devotion towards perfecting of his talent continues to make him a rising star.

He can now been seen on the weekly comedy variety television series on the Fox Network "Cedric The Entertainer Presents…", and on the Platinum selling DVD "Cedric The Entertainer's Starting Line Up - VOLUME ONE" that hit stores September 17, 2002.
