Roosevelt Johnson Entertainment (RJE), a Roosevelt Johnson Enterprise, is very interested in showcasing the Seventh (7TH) Annual RJE Comedy Cabaret Tour - First Leg at your university during the FALL 2003 academic semester featuring headlining comedians: BRUCE BRUCE (Co - Host of BET's "Comic View"), ARNEZ J (Co - Host of BET's "Comic View"), RICKEY "LIL' DARRYL" SMILEY, MIKE EPPS, GARY OWEN, LAVELL CRAWFORD, ARNEZ J, and JOE CLAIR (Please Note: This Tour In No Way Is Affiliated With MR. BRIAN DENNIS Of The BLACK COLLEGE COMEDY TOUR Based In Philadelphia).

RJE is a promotional company, based in Atlanta, Georgia, that has showcased numerous After Parties, Music/ Comedy Concerts, and promotions in the United States since 1992. We are currently on tour promoting the First Leg of the Seventh (7th) Annual Comedy Cabaret Tour, Managing and booking entertainment dates for numerous comedians; and servicing promotions for several College Homecoming Basketball/ Football Classics Weekends and Celebrity after parties.

The purpose of the Seventh (7th) Annual RJE Comedy Cabaret Tour 2003 is to provide an opportunity for numerous comedians', all of whom have been featuring on Black Entertainment Television's (BET) "Comic View", Home Box Office's (HBO) "Russell Simmons Def Comedy Jam", or Comedy Central "Comic Groove", to display their comedic talents at numerous Colleges/ Universities across the country.

Instead of waiting or soliciting other promoters to book the comedians we managed for comedy concert dates and being that we toured with the Kings of Comedy Tour for two (2) years, we felt that the necessary contacts and experience to run our very own comedy tour was already in place. RJE financed and contacted numerous colleges to provide a venue on campus for us to showcase our RJE Comedy Cabaret Tour 1997. To increase revenues and a way to thank the University for allowing us to host a tour date, we suggested that following the comedy concert, the University showcase an After Party on campus where the University receives 100% of the door revenues.

A native of Winston - Salem, North Carolina, Roosevelt "RJ" Johnson is the exclusive promoter of the RJE COMEDY CABARET TOUR. RJ is a 1996 graduate of North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University in Greensboro, North Carolina with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration - Management. Upon gradation, Roosevelt secured a promotional agreement with Walter Latham of then Southeast Concerts (Now Latham Entertainment), exclusive promoter of the Kings of Comedy Tour, and toured with the Kings of Comedy (Guy Torry, Cedric "The Entertainer", Bernie Mac, and Steve Harvey) for the first three legs of the tour. "Being that Walter was only 28 at the time and being a very positive and smart businessman, I used to watch how he operated and ran his tour. I used to study, talk, and listen to him all the time. For me personally and business wise, it was just like going to graduate school. If you learn from the Kings, you will eventually become a Prince…" comments RJ.

With numerous comedians that lived and worked in the Atlanta, Georgia area, RJ soon moved to Atlanta to network and start booking comedians for various colleges and entertainment venues. "Moving to Atlanta was the best decision I have made to date…". While on tour, I noticed that a lot of Colleges and Universities homecoming comedy concerts were not up to par or were cancelled at the last minute. RJ then created a power packed entertainment package of comedians that was perfect for colleges. "The tour took off like a rocket and I have not looked back since. It got to the point were I would have a concert for my tour one night and fly to another city that weekend for the Kings of Comedy tour dates." comments RJ.

The purpose of the Annual RJE Comedy Cabaret Tour is to provide an opportunity for numerous comedians', all of whom have been featuring on Black Entertainment Television's (BET) "Comic View" or Home Box Office's (HBO) "Russell Simmons Def Comedy Jam", to display their comedic talents at numerous Universities after their home Football/ Basketball contests. To increase revenues for these Universities, immediately following their university's home Football/ Basketball contest, we frequently host an After Party in their gymnasium on campus where the University receives 100% of the door revenues.

In 1997, the tour was routed and self financed and began in the Fall academic semester in 1997 at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University. The tour was very successful and embodied well and only showcased Three (3) dates. 1997 - THREE (3) DATES ENTOTAL.

This ten (10) date Second (2nd) annual RJE Comedy Cabaret Tour 1998 showcased our comedians' talents, all of whom have been featuring on Black Entertainment Television's (BET) "Comic View" or Home Box Office's (HBO) "Russell Simmons Def Comedy Jam", immediately following the university's home basketball/ football contest in their gymnasium on campus. This tour began on September 12th and was concluded on November 21, 1998. So So Def Recordings, La Face Records, and other record labels provided numerous promotional products that we distributed to students in attendance. 1998 - TEN (10) DATES ENTOTAL.

In 1999, RJE successfully completed the First and Second legs of the Third (3rd) annual RJE Comedy Cabaret Tour (Which was sponsored by BMG/ JIVE Records - R. Kelly, Mystikal, Too $hort's label). The First (Basketball) leg concluded on April 30th with a total of Ten (10) tour dates and the Second (Homecoming) leg concluded on November 17, 1999 with a total of Ten (10) tour dates. These concert dates were performed immediately following the university's home football/ basketball contest in their gymnasium on campus. The average attendance for these events were 1,000 persons and the average media reach is 8,000 persons per campus. 1999 - TWENTY (20) DATES ENTOTAL.

The first leg of the Fourth (4th) annual RJE Comedy Cabaret Tour Y2K began on January 7th at Central State University and completed with sixteen (16) tour dates on April 29th at University of Arkansas - Pine Bluff and the Second (Homecoming) leg began on August 25th at Albany State University and concluded on December 5, 2000 at Shaw University with a total of Twenty (20) tour dates. 2000 - THIRTY - SIX (36) DATES ENTOTAL.

During the Fall 2000 semester, RJE was elevated to the upper echelon of comedy promotions by setting an entertainment promotion president of showcasing Twelve (12) Homecoming Comedy Shows in one academic semester. We also created a web site, WWW.COMEDIANDEPOT.COM, so students in attendance can follow their favorite comedians throughout the year as well as post their resumes for possible full time employment and intern possibilities with numerous FORTUNE 500 companies.

The first leg of the RJE Comedy Cabaret Tour 2001 was also extremely successful. We were able to showcase comedy concerts featuring Six (6) of the top comedians in the country: D. L . HUGHELY, LAVELL CRAWFORD, JOE CLAIR, MIKE EPPS, BRUCE BRUCE, and Rickey "LIL DARRYL" Smiley. The first leg of the Fifth (5th) annual RJE Comedy Cabaret Tour 2001 began on February 3rd at Northern Kentucky University and completed with Twenty (20) tour dates on May 11th at Central State University. 2001 FIRST LEG - TWENTY (20) DATES ENTOTAL. During the Fall 2001 semester, RJE was elevated to the upper echelon of comedy promotions by setting another entertainment promotion president of showcasing Fifteen (15) Homecoming Comedy Shows in one academic semester. We set an attendance record for a comedy event on Wednesday, October 3rd at Southern University by having an attendance over 5,000 persons (BRUCE BRUCE, JOE CLAIR, and LAV LUV) at our tour date at their University. Due to our recent national media exposure, our tour was featured by WVIR -TV NBC 29 after the tragedy on September 11th on how students were relieving their stress during homecoming. 2001 SECOND LEG - TWENTY- THREE (23) DATES ENTOTAL.

The first leg of the Sixth (6TH) Annual RJE Comedy Cabaret Tour 2002 was also very successful. We were able to showcase comedy concerts featuring Six (6) of the top comedians in the country: D. L . HUGHELY, LAVELL CRAWFORD, JOE CLAIR, MIKE EPPS, BRUCE BRUCE, and Rickey "LIL DARRYL" Smiley. The first leg of the RJE Comedy Cabaret Tour 2001 began on January 4th at Central State University and completed with Thirty Three (33) tour dates on May 17th at Central State University. We were able to be the Official comedy tour of the Big XII Conference (University of Oklahoma) and the Drake Relays (Drake University) in Des Moines, Iowa. 2002 FIRST LEG - THIRTY THREE (33) DATES ENTOTAL.

During the Fall 2002 semester, RJE was elevated to the upper echelon of comedy promotions by setting another entertainment promotion president of showcasing Thirty (30) Homecoming Comedy Shows in one academic semester. We set an attendance record for a comedy event on Wednesday, October 9th at ALABAMA A&M University by having an attendance over 4,000 persons (BRUCE BRUCE, SYLVIA, and LAV LUV) at our tour date at their University. In 2002, RJE secured an exclusive comedy promotional agreement with the University of Miami in Coral Gables, Florida where the RJE Comedy Cabaret Tour would be the exclusive comedy tour featured on their campus for the Spring 2003 academic semester. 2002 SECOND LEG - THIRTY (30) DATES ENTOTAL.

The first leg of the Seventh (7TH) Annual RJE Comedy Cabaret Tour 2003 is off to a very successful start.

We are very proud at RJE that we have never had to cancel, SWITCHED COMEDIANS, postpone, or had a date to be delayed on this RJE Comedy Cabaret Tour. This also is the largest comedy tour (Urban or Non Urban) catering to Universities and the longest running Urban comedy tour in the country to date (The Kings of Comedy Tour ended in the Fall 2000).

We are the exclusive promoters for the RJE Comedy Cabaret Tour which features numerous comedians (Bruce Bruce, Ms. Pat Brown, Ms. "Small Frie", "MISS SYLVIA", "MS. DOMINQUE", "RODMAN", "LAVELL CRAWFORD", "LAV LUV", "LEON ROGERS", "ALEX THOMAS", "J.J.", Joe Clair, "NARD" Holston, MIKE EPPS, "Big" Sean Larkins, "C - DAWg", "DOMINIQUE", gary owen, arNEz j, Rickey "Lil' Darryl" Smiley, etc.) to showcase their talents at various colleges across the country.

This tour has embodied so well at Central State University in Wilberforce, Ohio, that we have been showcasing a comedy concert there twice (2x) a semester since 1999. That is ten (10) comedy concerts SHOWCASED since January 1999.

We are currently servicing promotions on the URBAN COMEDY CABARET TOUR, Managing and booking entertainment dates for numerous comedians; and servicing promotions for several Black College Homecoming/ Football Classics Weekends and Celebrity after parties. One of our top female comedians, MS. PAT BROWN, was featured in the June/ July issue of VIBE Magazine. Comedian Rickey "LIL' DARRL" Smiley, the new host of Black Entertainment Television's (BET) Comedy series "COMIC VIEW" and Joe Clair of BET's "Rap City" and "Madd Sports" have recently been added to the second leg of our tour.

We have also added lecturer Tiy-E Muhammad, PH.D, an innovative professor, poet, psychologist, and author is taking the nation by storm. As a professional speaker, Dr. Muhammad captures his audience with a style that is earthy, sensuous and humorous: an approach that relaxes the listener, male and female and leaves them open to receiving his thought-provoking message of love and unity. Acclaimed author of two books (Secrets Men Keep: What They Don't Tell, and From Player 2 Poet), Dr. Muhammad was also recently showcased in the January 21st and April 15th issues of JET & EBONY MAGAZINES, THE RIKKI LAKE SHOW, and the WB Network's "The Ananda Lewis Show". We are currently booking dates for him to lecture at numerous Universities this semester.

RJE has also recently added comedian/ hypnotist "DALE K" to our client roster. DALE K is not your average hypnotist with a tuxedo and a pocket watch. His wacky physical comedy and electrifying personality will convince you that this is not your typical hypnosis show. In 2001, Dale K earned the APCA Performing Artist of the Year, Best Novelty Artist and Performer of the Year awards. HE IS A SURE HIT ON A COLLEGE CAMPUS and a CAN'T MISS COMEDY/NOVELTY ACT. YOUR STUDENTS WILL BE SURELY AMAZED!!!!!

We have also added Ventriloquist Willie Brown, oh I forgot "WOODY" also, to our client roster. WOODY is his name. He's a slick, fast talking hilariously funny wooden comedian sidekick. Ventriloquist Willie Brown and his partner WOODY have appeared on The Best of BET's "Comic View", HBO's "Def Comedy Jam", Comedy Central, and several other TV programs. Willie has headlined many comedy clubs throughout the country and has worked with the likes of Steve Harvey, Martin Lawrence, and D.L. Hughley to name a few. So if anybody asks you just tell them that "It's All Wood!!!!". WILLIE B WOODY IS A SURE HIT ON A COLLEGE CAMPUS and A CAN'T MISS COMEDY/NOVELTY ACT.
